Troika Recollections

Recollections is a timely celebration of the incontrovertible power theatre has to bring people together.

Recollections is a documentary film involving professional and amateur actors ranging in age from 30 to 85, all of whom currently live or have lived in Oxfordshire and have been part of a Troika Theatre production. Through a series of unscripted one-on-one interviews and lively group conversation (prompted by surprise questions in golden envelopes) the actors will recount some of their most memorable moments from their collective years in the Oxford Theatre community.

Recollections will have a public screening in Autumn 2023 alongside a digital download option.

About Troika Theatre

Since 2010, Troika Theatre has been committed to producing entertaining and engaging theatre in Oxford and further afield. Working with town and gown, Troika Theatre is a small, not-for-profit company drawing on the talents of local amateur actors and theatre professionals, whose focus is on bringing clarity to texts, without compromising the simple elements of storytelling.  In addition to staging British classics for international students both in the UK and abroad (including from Italy, Russia and Mexico), Troika Theatre has devised and delivered workshops for schools working with students to get into the heart of each story.
