Vita Peach and Tamsin Heatley

Vita Peach and Tamsin Heatley create parody dance theatre.

Vita and Tamsin have created work together for nearly 25 years – It’s an equal collaboration: Vita brings the dance element, Tamsin is the shrewd observing eye and story maker.

Out of exploration enabled by their Offbeat seed funding, Tamsin and Vita researched and developed a short film and created Kieran, The Estate Agent – a cabaret act about a desperate, sleazy man who relishes winning at his profession.

Vita Peach

Vita originally trained in contemporary dance, she is a versatile actor and physical theatre performer. She uses her movement skills to create character parodies, incorporating a range of dance styles, movement techniques and choreography.

Vita’s experience in burlesque dance gives her work a risqué and highly entertaining edge.

Tamsin Heatley

Having trained at East 15, Tamsin has a rich and extensive history working as an actor in devised theatre with companies including Complicité and Lumiere and Son. She is an incisive director with a clear creative vision. Often with a daring, darkly comic style, she pushes boundaries and creates idiosyncratic work. Through collaboration and devising, she pushes her artists to discover deeper truth and to tell authentic stories
